This Steak Fried Rice recipe brings tender steak together with our Bold Food Crate Fried Rice Seasoning for a dish that’s packed with bold, savory flavor. Our seasoning blend does the heavy lifting, so you get perfectly seasoned fried rice every time.
Ingredients
For the Steak
- 1 lb steak, cut into bite-size cubes
- 1 teaspoon Bold Food Crate Fried Rice Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oil
For the Fried Rice
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons Bold Food Crate Fried Rice Seasoning
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (finely diced carrots and green peas; frozen vegetables will work)
- ⅓ cup water
- 3 large eggs
- 2½ cups cooked white rice
Optional: chopped green onions (for finishing)

Season the Steak
In a bowl, combine the steak with Bold Food Crate Fried Rice Seasoning, black pepper, baking soda, and soy sauce. Toss until evenly coated. -
Cook the Steak
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 5–6 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside. -
Toast the Seasoning
In the same pan, add 3 tablespoons of oil. Stir in the Bold Food Crate Fried Rice Seasoning and toast for about 1 minute until fragrant. -
Cook the Vegetables
Add the mixed vegetables and stir well. Pour in the water, mix, and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and most of the liquid has cooked off. -
Scramble the Eggs
Push the vegetables to one side of the pan. Crack the eggs into the empty side and scramble until just set. -
Add the Rice
Add the cooked rice and mix everything together until evenly combined. -
Finish the Dish
Return the steak to the pan and stir well. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top (optional) and toss gently. Cook for 1–2 minutes to heat through. -
Serve
Serve hot with soy sauce on the side if desired.
